Head of School Day Celebrates Faculty and Students
Conditions were just about perfect for Head of School Day on Friday, April 29. But with temperatures hovering above freezing, the ceremony which honors faculty and staff for 25 years of service to McDonogh, employees who are retiring, and upper schoolers who earned academic awards, the event was moved to the warmth of the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Athletic Center. Between the recognition and awards, the school community enjoyed musical selections by ensembles from each division.
Congratulations to 25-year employees Linda PioRoda and Patricia Tasher; and best wishes to to retirees Donald Clifford, Mike Eller, Chet Janiga, Ilona Kessell, Bob Mahon, Nancy McFadden, Philip Olsen, Donna Pearre, Tom Pearre, Al Poklemba, JB Rothen, and Jewel Xie.
