Well Well Well Concert Rocks and Raises Funds
McDonogh Middle School's Rock Shop rock stars took to the stage in the Esther Anne Dining Hall on Friday, February 28 for the 15th annual Well Well Well Concert. Six Rock Shop bands played a variety of classic and contemporary rock tunes as well as a few original songs. Special guest performers included recent Rock Shop alumni and musicians from the Ascend Through Music Living Classrooms program. Proceeds from a raffle that was conducted during the concert benefit the Living Classrooms program as well as the Ugandan Water Project. At the end of the night, The Hot Pockets, a band comprised of fifth graders featuring faculty members Steve Martel and Craig Copeland, brough down the house with an energetic performance of My Generation by The Who.
