Robotics Team Engineers Win at Battle of Baltimore

For the sixth consecutive year, McDonogh hosted the Battle O’ Baltimore, a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics off-season competition sponsored by the Maryland Robotics Alliance. The all-day event took place in the Rollins- Luetkemeyer Athletic Center on Saturday, September 21, with high school robotics teams from all over the region coming together to compete.

McDonogh’s own robotics team was a part of a three team alliance that qualified for the playoff rounds. Ultimately the team won the top honor at the event the Fort McHenry Champion Award. It was a great, confidence boosting win as the team now prepares for the new season.
