A Glimpse of Shel Silverstein
The fourth grade worked with the eighth grade leadership team to write, direct, score, and produce a show based off of four Shel Silverstein poems. Their hard work paid off as "A Glimpse of Shel Silverstein" premiered in front of an audience of delighted parents and lower schoolers on Thursday, March 14. Using Stuck Shut, The Mungry Disaster, I am Sick!, and Take Out the Trash as their inspiration, the students crafted an inventive script that mixed music, poetry, and storytelling into a fun, farcical play that would have made Mr. Silverstein proud.
