Take Apart Day Discovery
Take Apart Day on Friday, February 23 was the ultimate hands-on, doing (or undoing) exercise for the fourth grade. Scheduled at the conclusion of their science unit on simple machines, the students armed with screwdrivers and other tools, dismantled a variety of appliances, cameras, phones, and computers. Working together, they discovered that many complex machines are powered by simple machines. See more here.
