Reunion Weekend 2016 Friday Events
Reunion Weekend 2016 was met with torrential downpours on Friday, May 6, which caused some outdoor activities to be cancelled. The indoor activities, however, drew large and enthusiastic crowds beginning with a mid-morning Alumni Panel discussion with the Upper School student body. Next, guests traveled by bus to Roots Barn for the annual Alumni Luncheon and State of the School Address given by Associate Headmaster Tim Fish. The occasion was also an opportunity to dedicate the new barn and thank volunteers and donors for their support of Roots. Later, after a Memorial Service in Tagart Chapel, alumni and guests enjoyed a cocktail party in the Rogers Lobby of the Edward St. John Student Center. Special attention was paid to our “McDouble” alumni—those who married a fellow Eagle.
