Joy Shines Through at LS Closing
Although soggy spring weather forced the Lower School Closing Ceremony on Friday, June 3 inside the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Athletic Center, the joy of the day shone brightly. Before the ceremony, the 72 fourth graders received their McDonogh pins from their homeroom teachers. During the Closing Ceremony they received certificates of completion and students in PK to grades three officially moved up one grade with the exchange of banners. The ceremony also included music performed by the Lower School, fourth grade memories and advice, remarks from Headmaster Charlie Britton, and lots of hugs.
