Sixth Grade Puts the Try in Triathlon
After weeks of training, the sixth grade participated in the annual triathlon on Monday, May 11. The event, which encourages students to challenge themselves, began in the pool. After swimming eight lengths, the athletes transitioned to their waiting bikes and rode to Mr. Britton’s house. Then, they used their last bit of energy to complete the running portion of the event around the fields and onto the track where they were cheered on by parents, faculty, and classmates.
