MechDonogh Eagles Compete at Chesapeake Regionals

The MechDonogh Eagles, the school's robotics team, competed in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Challenge event for the Chesapeake region held April 11-13 at the Baltimore Convention Center. The Eagles, who are coming off of their "Rookie of the Year" award win at the Rochester competition, took the opportunity to refine their robot, "Golden Goose," and prepare for the championship to be held later this month in St. Louis. McDonogh placed 24 out of 64 teams. The Golden Goose has been placed in its shipping crate and will soon be on its way to the Gateway to the West!  Photos courtesy of Matthew D.
