Rollins-Luetkemeyer Athletic Center - Campus & Facilities - McDonogh School

Rollins-Luetkemeyer Athletic Center

Funded with a lead gift by the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation, the R-L Athletic Center opened in 1996 with four basketball courts, a wrestling room, a classroom, and a weight-training room. The Henry A. Rosenberg, Jr. ‘48 Aquatic Center, which includes an eight-lane, Olympic-size pool, was added to the athletic complex in 2006.

Alumni Room

The Osborne Alumni Room, a large classroom, meeting room, and multi-purpose room, is immediately inside the west entrance of the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Center. It is often used for sports team meetings and dinners, classes during the academic day, and for meetings of groups of all sizes. The room is named in honor of alumni parents Hamish and Christy Osborne.

The Cage

Located on the main corridor of the gym near the locker rooms, the Cage is where students go for athletic equipment, towels, uniforms, or laundry.
