Equestrian Center - Campus & Facilities - McDonogh School

Equestrian Center

McDonogh offers one of the finest equestrian programs in the Baltimore area. Along with its varsity and JV riding teams, McDonogh is one of the few schools to offer horsemanship and riding as part of its Lower and Middle School curriculums. After-school lessons and a summer clinic are open to the public. The expansive facilities are comprised of the Riding Hall that houses a 70-stall barn and an indoor arena, the Eagle's Nest, and the Willis Lynch Showgrounds with three outdoor rings. Lynch was Director of Riding at McDonogh from 1932 to 1973. A 400-square-foot museum was added in 2015 to showcase McDonogh’s cavalry and riding history.
