Hall of Fame

Any member of the McDonogh family may nominate an individual who meets the eligibility criteria listed below. Nominations can be submitted using this form. Self-nominations are also accepted by completing an Information Sheet. All nominees will be contacted and requested to complete an accurate Information Sheet in order to be considered by the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee.. 

Nominations are due by Friday,  September 8, 2023. Nominees must then submit a complete and accurate Information Sheet by Friday, November 10, 2023, in order to be considered by the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee for induction in the spring of 2024.

The qualifications are as follows:

1. Ten years must have elapsed from the date of the nominee's graduation from McDonogh.
2. The nominee must have earned at least one varsity athletic letter.
3. The nominee must have received a McDonogh diploma.
4. The nominee must have demonstrated an outstanding athletic record while attending McDonogh and, if applicable, at the college level and beyond.
5. The personal conduct of the nominee must be in accord with the ideals set forth by John McDonogh.
6. Any former coach or member of the athletic department who has served at least 15 years at McDonogh is eligible; nominees from this group are exempt from requirements 1, 2, and 3 above.
