The All-Sports Camp (Ages 8–15) (Coed)

  • Ages: For children, preteens, and teenagers ages 8 to 15 (coed).
  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Camp Programming Overview
Research shows that the modern-day athlete benefits from participating in a variety of sports. Each day, All-Sports campers engage in a rotating schedule of sports with other kids their age. These sports include soccer, basketball, baseball, flag football, floor hockey, volleyball, disc golf, and more. The camp also includes daily swimming. The highlight of each week is our Color War, in which campers compete in exciting team events.

Former and current college athletes teach game fundamentals, encourage friendly competition, and reinforce the value of spirit and sportsmanship. Field trips will return for the 2026 camp; activities such as bowling, a baseball game, or skating are potential trips.

McDonogh Tennis Beginners Camp (Ages 6–12) (Coed)

The McDonogh Tennis Beginners Camp, directed by long-time Tennis Camp staffer Ben Rabin, is designed for beginners of all ages. Conducted on our top-notch, 17-court facility, the program teaches players the techniques for success in this lifetime sport. Group and individual instruction will allow each player to reach their potential. Students will be able to set their own goals.

Instruction in injury prevention, tennis etiquette, and personal motivation will be a prominent component of the daily routine. In addition, each camper will enjoy a daily period of free swim prior to lunch.

Camp Programming Overview
Join us for a spirited and exciting week of cheerleading camp at McDonogh! Directed by Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach Mollie Williams and Lower School Cheerleading Coach Sarah Spund, a former cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens.

Campers will learn motions, jumps, chants, a short routine, and age-appropriate stunts while building confidence, teamwork, and school spirit. Each day includes games and confidence-building activities, and the week concludes with a mini-performance for families.

Cheerleading camp offers a supportive, spirited environment where new and returning cheerleaders can grow their skills, make friends, and kick off the summer with energy and fun. Open to all experience levels.

McDonogh Girls Basketball Camp (Ages 9–15)

Camp Programming Overview
Directed by McDonogh Varsity Girls Basketball Coaches Terri Hall and Brad Rees, this camp is designed to improve the skills of all players, regardless of ability level.

Housed inside the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Athletic Center, with four full courts and 16 baskets, skill development, individual competitions, team play, and fun will all be emphasized as players build the foundation necessary to compete in middle school and high school.

The staff will include college and high school coaches and players.

McDonogh Field Hockey Camp (Ages 8–15)

Camp Programming Overview
The McDonogh Girls' Field Hockey Camp is designed for players whose goal is to develop a competitive spirit as well as technique. McDonogh's Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach Courtney Rainey and her experienced staff will provide campers with instruction, games, stick work practices, tactical offensive and defensive strategies, and encouragement.

Each camper plays an equal amount of time in games, and staff members are available to give individual attention. Competitive and teamwork experiences will occur on the field and in the Henry A. Rosenberg, Jr. Aquatic Center.

Both novice and experienced players are welcome. Campers from the same school or the same recreation or club team may practice and play together throughout the week—please note this on your child's application form.

All campers are required to bring their own water bottle/jug, stick, and mouth and shin guards. Goalies must bring their own equipment.

Junior Eagles Sports Camp for Girls (Ages 5–11)

Camp Programming Overview
This introductory camp gives young athletes a fun and supportive experience with McDonogh Girls Sports Camps. Throughout the week, campers will rotate through a variety of sports—including soccer, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, and tennis—while learning the foundational skills of each. With an emphasis on teamwork, confidence, and trying new things, this camp is the perfect way to explore different sports and discover new interests. Athletes will not need to provide all equipment if they do not have their own; sticks and rackets will be available.

Directed by McDonogh Varsity Coaches Mary Beth Todd and Courtney Rainey, the camp also features coaching from McDonogh athletes and alumni who bring energy, enthusiasm, and experience to every session.

McDonogh Girls Lacrosse Camp (Ages 6–15)

Camp Programming Overview
Directed by McDonogh's Head Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach Megan Nicotra and Varsity Girls Lacrosse Assistant Coach Mary Beth Todd, this lacrosse camp is designed for players who want to improve both their individual skills and gameplay.

By working with current and former McDonogh varsity players, campers will hone position-specific skills and sharpen their game awareness. The players will then apply these skills in small-sided games, scrimmages, and daily competitions.

All skill levels are welcome; however, players will be grouped by age and years of experience.

McDonogh Premier Soccer Program: Girls Summer Soccer Camp (Ages 5–12)

  • Ages: For youth and preteen girls ages 5 to 12.

Camp Programming Overview
Directed by McDonogh Varsity Girls Soccer Assistant Coach Mary Beth Todd, this camp is designed for soccer players of all levels and is structured around the fundamentals that established McDonogh's nationally ranked girls program.

Younger players will be provided with basic skills, techniques, and simple concepts of the game; more elite players will learn the core technical principles and tactical principles that are synonymous with McDonogh Soccer.

Campers will have fun learning the game and acquiring skills to help them reach their soccer potential. The staff will include some of the area's best coaches and players from the high school and college levels.

Camp Programming Overview
Directed by McDonogh Varsity Girls Soccer Assistant Coach Mary Beth Todd, this camp is designed for experienced players who want to improve both their individual skills and their understanding of team concepts.

In the morning, players will work with a professional coach and a Division I soccer player to improve on skills specific to their position. During afternoon scrimmages, campers will apply the skills they have learned. The staff will include some of the area's best coaches and players from the high school and college levels.

Camp Programming Overview
Directed by McDonogh Varsity Girls Soccer Assistant Coach Mary Beth Todd, this camp will focus on all aspects of goalkeeping, including commanding the box, shot-blocking, taking proper angles, positioning, handling crosses, distribution, and communication.

Goalkeepers will have the opportunity to see live camp action while receiving coaching instruction from the camp coaching staff. The staff will include some of the area's top coaches and players from the college and high school levels.

This camp is run in conjunction with Girls Soccer Elite Training Camp and Girls Summer Soccer Camp.

McDonogh Softball Camp (Ages 8–15)

  • Ages: For youth, preteen, and teenage girls ages 8 to 15.
  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Dates and Tuition: June 29 to July 2 – $415 (Week of July 4)
  • Weekly Transportation Fee (Optional): $50 per camper

Camp Programming Overview
This camp is directed by McDonogh's Head Varsity Softball Coach John Folfas, The Baltimore Sun's 2018 Softball Coach of the Year, whose teams won the 2014 and 2018 IAAM Softball Conference Championships. He is assisted by a staff of current and former high school and college players.

The camp will consist of teaching proper basic and advanced techniques of throwing, fielding, defense, base running, bunting, slapping, and hitting. The latest and most effective drills and teaching techniques are used in a creative and positive atmosphere. The camp will include daily controlled scrimmages and various competitions. Participants will elevate their short game and find new power in their swings while defensively pushing themselves to develop exceptional fundamentals.

Campers must bring a glove, bat, cleats, tennis shoes, and a helmet.

Eagle Volleyball Camp (Ages 10–15)

  • Ages: For preteen and teenage girls ages 10 to 15.
  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Camp Programming Overview
Enjoy playing volleyball? Improve your skills and learn the game at Eagle Volleyball Camp! Campers will increase fundamental serving, passing, setting, hitting, and blocking skills in both individual and team-based training. Instruction is led by McDonogh Varsity Volleyball coaches and recent volleyball graduates.

Focus will be placed on building all-around foundational skills, expanding players' knowledge of the game, and having fun! Prior volleyball experience is recommended but not required.

Maryland Future Champions Girls Wrestling Clinic (Ages 7–17)

  • Ages: For youth, preteen, and teenage girls ages 7 to 17.
  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Dates and Tuition: June 29 to July 2 – $415 (Week of July 4)

Camp Programming Overview
Girls' wrestling is growing at a rapid pace across the country. This camp will be run in conjunction with the Maryland Future Champions Boys Wrestling Camp. Girls will train with the boys and get the same great instruction from our top coaching staff. It is recommended but not required that girls sign up with a partner of similar size and experience, if possible.

Directed by McDonogh Head Varsity Wrestling Coach and NCAA All-American Pete Welch, this program is designed for the beginner as well as the advanced wrestler. All wrestlers will be grouped by age, weight, and skill level. Each group will learn new techniques taught by top college and high school coaches and wrestlers. Time will also be devoted to review, drilling, and live wrestling. Competitive individual and group activities will be planned each day as well.
