Message from the MPA President

(L-R) Grace Jackson ‘95 P’27, 29 and Jennifer McKinnell P’21, 24

Welcome to new and returning McDonogh families! The McDonogh Parents Association (MPA) cannot wait for another wonderful year to begin! My name is Jennifer McKinnell, and I am honored and excited to be serving as the 2023-2024 MPA President. I fell in love with McDonogh and this community in the fall of 2009 when I dropped my oldest son off for the first time. That love has not waned over the years as my trust and appreciation for the faculty have deepened, and the bonds and friendships I have made in the community have grown. The MPA provides a wonderful opportunity to form meaningful connections while having a positive impact on McDonogh’s faculty and students.

As an MPA, our goals are to:

  • Foster a friendly, inclusive, and vibrant volunteer community.
  • Support families, faculty, and students through enriching programs and engaging social events.
  • Provide vital resources and communication.
  • Have lots of fun!

How can I get involved?
Every parent and guardian is a member of the MPA.

  • Please visit our volunteer page and let us know how you’d like to get involved
  • Attend monthly MPA divisional meetings (google calendar link)
