Please join us on Saturday, February 11 at Roots Farm for a luncheon to benefit the Baltimore Hunger Project. Art teacher Holly Thompson, Farmer Sharon Hood, Chef Mallory Staley, and our incredibly talented Middle School students have partnered with Greatest Good McDonogh to host an Empty Bowls event to fight hunger.
The 3D Design students are busy making beautiful ceramic bowls, and the Farm to Fork class is hard at work planning the menu and learning what it takes to host a luncheon and cook for more than 150 people. Through this experiential learning and authentic application, they are realizing their power to do good in the world.
Don’t miss this wonderful event! Please note, tickets are limited and are expected to sell out quickly. Thank you in advance for your support of the Empty Bowls luncheon and for your help in fighting childhood hunger in Baltimore.
