Cum Laude Scholars Inducted

McDonogh School's Cum Laude Society welcomed 29 new members from the Classes of 2016 and 2017 at an induction ceremony on Thursday, April 21. The keynote speaker, H. Stacey Boyer ‘76, who holds the distinction of being McDonogh’s first female student and first female graduate, spoke about “Always Becoming.” The national honor society, which recognizes academic achievement, is modeled after the Phi Beta Kappa collegiate honor society. One of 18 Maryland schools with a Cum Laude chapter, McDonogh has been a member since 1955.
