Join us in conversation as award-winning journalist and bestselling author Jennifer Wallace will discuss her groundbreaking new book Mattering, in which she shares a transformative framework to confront the loneliness, burnout, and lack of purpose affecting so many people (parents and kids alike). Following up on her last book, Never Enough, which explored toxic achievement culture, she will discuss why mattering - the feeling that we are valued and have an opportunity to add value - is essential to our wellbeing, and how to build our 'mattering core' amidst so many competing pressures. Join us in person (in the Mullan Board Room) or via Zoom. For those able to attend in person, we will meet in the Mullan Board Room. Please arrive by 11:45 to get lunch and get seated for a prompt start at 12:00. Additional details, link to RSV,P and Zoom information can be found on the MPA Google Calendar.
