Visiting History Class Tours Memorial
Hosted by Director of Equity and Inclusion Enaye Englenton, Gilman's Assistant Head of School for Community, Inclusion, and Equity Mike Molina brought his African American History class (including some Roland Park Country School students) to visit the Memorial to Those Enslaved and Freed. Guided by History Instructor Jon Aaron '72 and History Teacher Ane Linvedt, they delved into the legacy of McDonogh and its connection to slavery. Afterward, a thoughtful discussion with members of McDonogh's Student Diversity Leadership Council over lunch fostered connections and understanding.
