Kindergartners Plant Pumpkins
The incoming kindergarten class enjoyed an afternoon at Roots Farm on Saturday, June 18. Continuing a fun tradition that sets up farm to fork lessons they will learn later in the year, the Class of 2036 planting pumpkin seeds before enjoying a picnic lunch by the barn. In the fall, the young farmers will return to pick their pumpkins and use them to make delicious pumpkin muffins with Farmer Hood and Chef Staley.
