Members of the Class of 2022 received their McDonogh pins at a ceremony on Wednesday, October 7 on the Ritter Terrace and the Rosenberg Campus Green–it was the first time the event was held outside. Members of the junior class, along with Dean Libet Ottinger, organized the event assuring precautions were taken for the safety of all. Students were physically distanced and parents watched via livestream.
In his remarks, Head of School Dave Farace ’87 quoted senior captions from past yearbooks noting that he found them inspirational and helped him realize the mission of the school was being upheld. He added that he couldn’t wait to read what the Class of 2022 would have to say as seniors. The evening ended at sunset, as a warm breeze sent the now upper level students on their way home.
