The Mechanics of Take Apart Day
Appliances, computers, cameras, and vacuum cleaners, once considered state-of–the art, were among the items dismantled by the fourth grade seeking to find what makes them work. Using screwdrivers and wrenches, the curious students discovered that many complex machines are also powered by simple machines. The annual Take Apart Day was held Friday, February 24. See more here.
