Director of Information Technology

The Director of Information Technology’s role is to provide vision and leadership for technology initiatives. This role is responsible for supervising the team that manages the School’s data, analytics, technology, information security, technical services, and professional development for non-teaching staff related to these areas of responsibility. The role directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of School operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and School development. The director proposes budgets for programs and projects, purchases and upgrades equipment, supervises computer specialists and IT workers, and presides over IT-related projects. The qualified candidate is a culturally competent team player with five years of experience in technology, and ideally 2-3 years of experience in leadership. The Director of Information Technology works closely with nearly every department chair or supervisor at the School. For this position in particular, employees hired to fill the role will inherit a mature and high-functioning team that has been led directly by the current Chief Operating Officer for 12 years, and will benefit from ongoing knowledge transfer and support while coming up to speed to take direct leadership of the day-to-day operations of the department. This new position will take over nearly all day-to-day technology management, and will report to the COO along with several other departments.

Grounds Person

Grounds Persons are essential personnel, they will work under the direction of the Director of Grounds to carry out all duties required to maintain and enhance the grounds and athletic fields of the campus.

Maintenance

The Maintenance worker performs duties to ensure the proper maintenance, repair, and renovation of the facilites, infrastructure, and utility systems of the school.

Middle School Math Teacher

An ideal full-time Middle School Mathematics teacheris dynamic, has the ability to teach all levels of mathematics courses through Algebra II, and is interested in developing strong problem-solving and communication competencies in students. The teacher will work with our Middle School students in grades 5 through 8. This position will start in the 2023-2024 school year.

Middle School Science Teacher

McDonogh School is looking for a dynamic educator that has the ability to teach 8th grade Science, is interested in STEM, Project-based learning, and 21st century skills. Substitute Nurse

The School Nurse provide health services to the McDonogh School community, including first aid treatment, and on-site triage and treatment for injuries and and mild to acute sicknesses. The School Nurse also provides support to students and other community members with chronic illnesses.

Transportation-Bus Driver

Upper School Math Teacher

An ideal full-time Upper School Mathematics Teacher is dynamic, has the ability to teach all levels of mathematics courses from Algebra I through Calculus, and is interested in developing strong problem-solving and communication competencies in students. The teacher will work with students in grades 9 - 12. This position will start in the 2023-2024 school year.
