Director of Riding

Equine excellence knows no bounds at McDonogh School. Boasting two indoor arenas (and another under construction), our program provides unparalleled opportunity for all levels of equestrians. Our team of nationally certified trainers provides expert instruction that guides riders from the foundational levels of our Lower School PE program to the heights of varsity and college preparatory offerings, with carefully curated steps along the way. The new Director of Riding at McDonogh School will oversee all aspects of the riding program at McDonogh School. This will include significant collaboration with the athletics administration to schedule riding activities within the physical education and athletic departments of the School, as well as managing the riding lesson and horse show programs of the School. This position also holds responsibility for revenue budgeting, collections, and reporting associated with the riding program, and will work closely with the Director of the Equestrian Center on a daily basis. Director of the Equestrian Center

McDonogh School operates one of the finest riding programs in the area and the facilities include indoor and outdoor competition rings, 40 acres of turnout including 25 paddocks with private turnouts, a 70 stall barn and a 50 stall competition stabling building, and a 3 bay auxiliary supply building. Our new Director of the Equestrian Center will manage the equestrian facilities and associated physical resources at McDonogh School. This includes equestrian center maintenance, supplies management, horse leases, and facilities rentals. This position holds responsibility for expense budgeting and reporting associated with the equestrian center, and will work closely with the Director of Riding on a daily basis. The Middle School (grades 5-8) seeks an experienced teacher of French and Spanish who will ignite a love of the French and Spanish language and culture in students. This position includes teaching French and Spanish to fifth through seventh grade students. Barn Hand- Equestrian Center

The Barn Hand is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment at the Boston Equestrian Center on our campus in Owings Mills, MD. This position will also complete basic horse care and assist with horse shows as needed. Junior Varsity Baseball Coach
