For 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade: Tuesday, June 15, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 16, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. This program is a two-day, full-day program and is free of charge.
For Kindergarten, Prefirst, and 1st Grade: Friday, August 27, 9:00-11:00 a.m. Your child will be able to meet his or her teacher, spend some time in the classroom, and connect with other new students.
For Pre-K: Please note, all our prekindergarten students are new to McDonogh, so their orientation will be built into the regular school day.
Updated lists for Summer 2021 will be available by June 15. Required books will be distributed at Orientation for new Middle School Students.

Summer Familiarization Program-Getting Acquainted with McDonogh: June 29 - July 1
The Upper School offers a summer program during the week of June 28 designed to familiarize new students with our academic expectations, facilities, and some of our faculty, administrators, and student leaders. All freshmen new to McDonogh are encouraged to participate, and there is no extra fee for this program. After the Information Night for Rising Freshmen, you will receive a letter with more details from the Ninth Grade Dean and Program Director, Alex Gardner.
