Our comprehensive support services span all divisions, empowering students from PK through twelfth grade to reach their full potential.
The committed team of learning specialists collaborates closely with students, teachers, and families to address various learning needs. From diagnosed learning differences to attentional challenges to academic skill development, we are here to provide support. Areas of focus include study strategies, time management, and fostering self-advocacy, all aimed at building confidence and independence in learning.
In addition to the learning support team, our advisors and teachers take pride in providing personalized attention and are accessible during designated free periods to answer questions and provide assistance with coursework and learning strategies. In some cases, additional tutoring from an independent tutor may be recommended to further enhance academic progress.

Students with diagnosed conditions that are confirmed by current documentation may be eligible for accommodations at McDonogh. Accommodation plans are crafted on a case-by-case basis and take into account individual requirements and demonstrated functional limitations impacting learning.
