Lecture to Address How Students Learn

Dr. Mariale Hardiman, co-founder and director of Johns Hopkins University School of Education's Neuro-Education Initiative and interim dean of the School of Education, will give a lecture on her research into the science of how we learn on Thursday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Klein Lyceum. Author of The Brain-Targeted Teaching Model for 21st Century Schools, Dr. Hardiman dispels myths about the brain and provides educators with the theory and tools to create the most vibrant, powerful learning experiences possible.

As McDonogh School pursues the vision of its academic strategic plan, LifeReady, copious research in the field of neuro-education--the science of how people learn--informs our practice and professional development. Babysitting will be available for children ages four and older. Please RSVP online if you would like to sign up for childcare.
