Entrepreneurial Team Wins Big with LyfeCord

Has this ever happened to you? Your iPhone, iPad or iPod is about to die and your power cord breaks; or someone borrows your cord, which looks like every other cord, and never returns it. A group of three McDonogh sophomores know the sinking feeling and have come to the rescue with LyfeCord--durable and unique chargers at a reasonable price.

The students, Bahram T., Jack W., and John T., who took the winter term course, New Business Development, entered LyfeCord in the Maryland Blue Ocean Competition, an entrepreneurial contest run by high school students for high school students. On Saturday, March 21, the trio presented LyfeCord to a panel of judges and walked away with the top prize of $1,000. To learn more about LyfeCord, visit their website.

Congratulations to a second McDonogh team, under the direction of Mohit P. '17 who made it to the finals with Agrius Games, a card-based game.
