MLK Day of Service
Inspired by Dr. King's words, “Everybody can be great because everybody can serve,” over 200 families in all three divisions participated in the Greatest Good McDonogh MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 16. Students and their families supported the needs of a partner organization by assembling hygiene kits, purchasing wishlist items for the SPCA, writing letters to senior citizens, donating books, art supplies, and women's clothing, making blankets for women who are currently fighting breast cancer, and packing bagged lunches to be donated to organizations in Baltimore City. Volunteers were beaming with excitement when they dropped off their projects embellished with colorful stickers and sealed with love.
