The Class of 2023 received their McDonogh pins in a ceremony on Wednesday, October 6 that marked their official status as juniors and upperclassmen of the School. Held during the school day in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre, students were physically distanced while family and friends watched via livestream.
After a warm welcome from Dean Constance Green, class officers Alexis Brown and Mehek Bajaj gave opening remarks, and the class enjoyed a slide show of pictures of the class over the years, prepared by Chloe Gordon and Gabby Grabush. Then, students were called by advisory to accept their gold McD lapel pins from Head of Upper School Merritt Livermore, Associate Head of School Kate Mueller, and Head of School Dave Farace.
