LS/MS Improvise a Way to Connect

Due to COVID-19 protocols, students in each division have not been able to work together on projects in person. For Suzi Eldridge's seventh grade OnStage class, that hurdle just required a little improvisation.

On Monday, February 22, the burgeoning young actors Zoomed into on-campus third grade classrooms and held an Improv Workshop on the principles of acting off-the-cuff. The lower schoolers learned that the key component of improvisation is listening and working together. After grasping the basics from their older schoolmates, it was time for the third graders to show their stuff as they participated in a few improv games. The workshop was a great way for students in the two divisions to connect and learn from each other.
