Eighth Grade Races to Determine Moat Boat G.O.A.T.
Eighth graders felt the thrill of victory as well as the agony of defeat as they raced moat boats of their own design in Gregg Kleiman's science class on Thursday, November 7. Working in teams, students designed boats and paddle wheels that utilized a rubber band as a motor and then printed their designs using a 3D printer. After a few test runs, students raced head to head in a tournament to determine the G.O.A.T. or Greatest of All Time.
