A Sappy Valentine's Day
Kirk Robertson '98 took his fifth grade science classes for a brisk hike into the woods surrounding McDonogh on Friday, February 14. It wasn't just a fun Valentine's Day adventure however, Robertson was teaching his students how to identify and tap maple trees for their sap. Next week, classes will return to collect their buckets in hopes of having enough sap to begin the process of turning it into syrup.
