Sweet Fun at Honey of a JamFest
There is nothing like McDonogh’s Honey of a JamFest. It’s a fall festival at Roots Farm and family picnic on the Rosenberg Campus Green all in one. The MPA-sponsored festivities started after school on Friday, September 28 and ended later in the evening when the sun set on the main part of campus.
At Roots, families of all ages enjoyed farm games, pumpkin and flower picking, sweet snacks, a mini farmers market, a corn maze, face painting, and the laid-back sounds of the faculty band. As the farm fun wound down, the tailgate-style picnic heated up by the Campus Green. Kids played and danced to the music of The Klassix and parents had the opportunity to catch up and enjoy the beautiful end-of-summer weather. Many thanks to all our volunteers; we couldn’t have done it without you.
