Hugs and Happiness at Lower School Closing
The Lower School Closing Ceremony on Friday, May 31 on Childs Memorial Terrace was punctuated by clear skies, bright smiles, and warm hugs. The ceremony began with students in PK through third grade processing down the hill with their class banners. They were followed by the Fourth Grade Drum Corps and the Class of 2027. Then, before the fourth graders were presented with their certificates of achievement, Lower School Head Barbara Robins shared some of their favorite memories and worthwhile advice for the younger students. Finally, as is tradition, the class had one last hug from their Lower School teachers. The morning and the school year officially ended with the tossing of blazers.
