Holiday Spirit Shines at Assembly
The spirit of the season was alive and well at the annual Holiday Assembly on Friday, December 14. Talented singers, dancers, and musicians from all three divisions delighted the audience with their performances, woven between an abridged version of Beauty and the Beast. The “tale as old as time” featured everyone’s favorite characters including Mrs. Potts, Cogsworth, and Lumiere. In the end, when the Beast is horrified to realize he’s given Belle an empty box, she explains, “Don’t you see….it means the world to me. It doesn’t matter what’s in the box. What matters is that it was precious to you and you gave it to me as a gift. THAT’S what the holiday spirit is all about.”
