Cardboard Boats: Feats of Engineering/Art

A fleet of 11 boats took to the still waters of the Duck Pond on Friday, May 25, but their time afloat was fleeting. After two heats, the crafts in the 29th Annual Cardboard Boat Race, which began as feats of engineering and art, ended as soggy pieces of paper. The crowds who lined the shore of the pond cheered for their favorite boats but in the end, the Millennium Falcon flew away with the B.O.B (Best Overall Boat) Award. Congratulations to all the contenders.
