Best Way to Protect Eggs is a Toss-Up
Close to three dozen raw eggs met their fate in the annual fourth grade Egg-Drop Challenge on Monday, May 8. Using all kinds of materials from bubble wrap to marshmallows, the students carefully packaged their precious cargo for the trip of a lifetime. Eggs were then tossed up in the air from high atop a 10-foot ladder. Not every egg survived, and the students discovered which method of protecting their eggs was most effective.
