Discovering Heritage Through Food
The fourth grade, their parents, and even some grandparents enjoyed an international luncheon buffet as part of their annual Heritage Day on Friday April 24. Parents provided samples of foods that represent the myriad of cultures in the McDonogh community. The students were eager to sample the many different options and to discover new tastes from near and far.
