Fader Innovation Center

Where Innovation Comes to Life

The Fader Innovation Center is the home of McDonogh’s burgeoning robotics and engineering programs—a collaborative space where students design, build, and solve real-world problems. From biomedical breakthroughs to environmental sustainability, LifeReady experiences and innovation unfold here every day.

During the annual STEM Fair, students showcase projects that highlight their creativity, technical skills, and wide range of ideas and solutions.

One example of the ingenuity that takes place in the Fader Innovation Center is "Skoolie," an ambitious initiative led by Environmental Science teacher Josh Jones and his STEM capstone class to transform a decommissioned McDonogh school bus into a fully functional tiny home. Students tackled every aspect, from electrical systems to plumbing, blending sustainability with hands-on engineering.

At the Fader Innovation Center, students aren’t just learning about the future—they’re building it!
