Affinity groups are gatherings of parents in our community who share a common identity. The groups provide a space where people who share an identity recognize that this commonality affects how they interact with the world around them. Affinity groups are created with the ultimate purpose and goal of promoting inclusivity in a diverse organization by allowing space for marginalized perspectives and voices to come together for support, resources, and by providing insight to the organization at large.
