Portraits of Courage
On May 8, third grade students presented "Portraits of Courage," honoring voices of the Civil Rights Movement. On stage, they reenacted the story of Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Following the stage performance, the audience was invited back to the classroom where the students presented dynamic scripts they wrote honoring courageous individuals in the Civil Rights Movement.
