McDonogh Connect is a mentoring, internship, and career resource program that launched in the fall of 2014. It matches current students and young alumni with members of the McDonogh community who have similar career interests and expertise. The success of McDonogh Connect depends on the participation of alumni, current and alumni parents, and friends of McDonogh who are willing to share their experience and insight with recent and future graduates as they prepare for their careers.
Look for periodic updates in the Alumni Newsletter and stay tuned for job and internship announcements, mentoring advice, and success stories in the McDonogh Connect blog.
To become a mentor or mentee, apply to McDonogh Connect. The opportunities for mentors are endless, but may include: participating in panel presentations, career mentoring, interviewing, and resume writing. Connections made through this program truly make a difference in the lives of our student and young alumni mentees.
McDonogh Connect has hosted several panel discussions for current students and facilitated a number of alumni connections for job and internship opportunities. McDonogh Connect will continue to link members of the McDonogh community both near and far, and provide resources for career exploration and job search assistance.
