Memorial Court, dedicated in November, 1946,
was erected in memory of McDonogh alumni lost in World Wars I
and II. The court, nestled among tall trees and hedges, is made
of a slate walkway that leads to a monolith inscribed with the
names of the fallen alumni. The student body congregates at the
requiem on Memorial Day each year to remember all of the former
students who have fought for our country.
