Built during the Depression, Finney Building
was constructed as a Public Works Administration project to create
jobs in Baltimore. It is the primary Middle School building. It
currently houses four floors of classrooms, a study hall, a state-of-the-art
multimedia computer lab, and the Middle School administrative
offices. The building was named for Dr. John M. T. Finney, a world-renowned
surgeon and a Board of Trustee member for forty-one years, twenty-one
of which was spent as President of the Board.
