Bowman House, located halfway up Main Drive,
houses the Alumni , Development , and Public Relations Offices.
The Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, and alumni also use it
as a meeting place. The building was originally named "Principal's
House" when it was built in 1915, but was changed to "Bowman House"
in recognition of Morgan H. Bowman, who was the first principal
to live there. It was the main residence for heads of the school
until 1935, when the present headmaster's house was built.
