McDonogh's athletic teams compete on the many fields and courts across campus. Soccer, field hockey, cross-country, football, baseball, softball, lacrosse and tennis each have numerous practice and game day fields. Highlights include twenty-one tennis courts and the John McDonogh Stadium, which was dedicated on November 11, 1938, as a Public Works Administration project to create more jobs in and around the Baltimore area.
