Seven Upper School students braved the frigid temperatures on Saturday, January 30 to participate in the 14th annual Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park. The adventuresome bunch took a dip in the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for Maryland Special Olympics. Fifteen others supported the effort with donations. A total of $1, 220 was raised. McDonogh's team was organized through the Upper School Special Olympics Club.
