Jazz Bands Groove in Concert
The three jazz bands gave an electrifying concert on Friday, May 8 in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre. The repertoire included everything from Chick Corea to Metallica, with a sprinkling of Earth, Wind, and Fire. Band director Don New recognized 15 graduating band members with compliments, friendly jibes, and certificates. They, in turn, honored him with a poster-sized card and a gift.
