Roots Springtime Planting
McDonogh families kicked off the spring season for Roots by planting potatoes on Saturday, April 30. The following week, fifth grade students finished planting the potato crop and third graders planted cucumber seeds in peat pots. The cucumber seedlings will be transplanted in the Roots plot in a few weeks.
