Prefirst Sings About Being Green
The prefirst class has been learning about recycling and upcycling in an effort to preserve our planet. On Tuesday, March 13, the class performed Prefirst Sings, an adaption of songs from Sally K. Albrecht and Jay Althouse’s It’s Easy Being Green. Through the lyrics of songs such as “Goin' Green, Slow Down,Turn It Off!” the children learned the importance of protecting the natural resources of the earth. The prefirst students recognized it just takes a little team work and persistence to develop better habits to help the environment. Watch the performance.
