Pat White
College Counseling Secretary
"Miss Pat" has been at McDonogh since 1975. She has brought her cheerful demeanor to a number of areas on campus, most recently joining the College Counseling staff in 1998. The candy jar is always full on Miss Pat's desk!
Alice Margraff
Director of College Counseling
Alice Margraff came to McDonogh School in 1993 after serving as an admissions officer at Johns Hopkins University. She has both a B.A. and M.A. from Johns Hopkins and is a member of the Hopkins Athletic Hall of Fame. Margraff coaches Middle School lacrosse and Varisty and JV Squash at McDonogh, serves as a class advisor, and is a proud McDonogh parent.
Sarah Marinacci
Associate Director of College Counseling
Sarah Marinacci arrived at McDonogh in 2004 after serving as an admissions officer at the Nightingale-Bamford School in New York City. Prior to that, she was Assistant Director of Admissions at Johns Hopkins University. Marinacci is a Baltimore native who attended St. Paul's School for Girls. She holds a B.A. in communications from Clemson University.
Kevin Costa, Ph.D.
Assistant Director of College Counseling
Kevin Costa joined McDonogh in 2005 as an English teacher and head of the drama department. The newest member of the college counseling staff is nonetheless experienced in the role. Formerly, Costa served as a teacher, administrator, and college counselor at the Nichols School in Buffalo, NY. He is also the new Director of Fine and Performing Arts.
